We use Python for the workshop examples — you don't need to be a Python expert, but you should be able to read and modify Python code without getting stuck on syntax.

If you've built at least one working app and you can read and modify code without hand-holding, you'll keep up. Previous cohorts included junior devs who said it stretched them — in a good way. That said, if you're still learning what a function is, this isn't the right starting point.

No. We spend minimal time on Python basics — just enough so everyone can navigate the repos. The real focus is on AI engineering patterns (LLM APIs, prompt structures, RAG pipelines, agent loops, tool calling) that transfer to any language. If anything, experienced Python devs tend to move faster through the labs and have time to experiment beyond the guided steps.

Two full days in person — Saturday and Sunday, 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. That's it. No homework, no pre-work beyond setup. We also run an optional online follow-up session one week later where you can ask questions about what you've started building at work and get guidance on next steps.
